“The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” is the amazing true story of one woman’s contribution to medical science, and the effort to cover it up, and the efforts of one daughter to find the truth. Oprah Winfrey and Rose Byrne star as Deborah Lacks and Rebecca Skloot, who wrote the eponymously titled bestselling book that chronicled their journey to the truth about Henrietta Lacks.
I had the honor of being Lead Graphic Designer and producing most of the film’s period graphics, signs, and medical signage, labels, and period documents for the HBO film that spans 3 decades: 1960s, 1980s and 1990s.
Until the film is released, works furnished upon request.
